The AdAge Media Evolved Conference

By Robert Daniel

On November 30th, 2010, OwnerIQ sponsored the AdAge Media Evolved Conference in New York City that focused on media innovation and boasted an impressive list of speakers. The roster included McCann Worldgroup’s CEO Nick Brien, Coca Cola’s VP of Integrated Marketing, Scott McCune, and Nick Shore, SVP of Strategic Consumer Insights and Research at MTV, whose speech entitled “Snooki’s Media Diet: Insight into Gen Y Media Consumption Habits” exemplified the conference’s cutting edge atmosphere.

As part of our sponsorship, OwnerIQ asked all registered attendees to choose one item out of these nine products that they would hypothetically like to own:

Their choice was then incorporated on the event name-tags. So, let’s say our rep Sam chose the Cisco Valet and I chose the Cakewalk Music Creator. Our name tags would’ve looked something like this, respectively:

You Are What You Own!
I am a Cisco Valet
You Are What You Own!
I am a Cakewalk Music Creator

Everyone who registered for a product was entered into a raffle to win one of three of these items at the end of the night. And, with the upcoming release of BrandIQ, we couldn’t help but take interest in which products generated the most registrations. The pie-chart looked something like this when all was said and done:
