Mediapost and OwnerIQ Launch RTB500

In May of 2012, OwnerIQ’s CEO, Jay Habegger sat down with the editor of Mediapost, Joe Mandese to discuss to the online media industry and how concepts like real-time bidding and programmatic were like the financial markets. “But unlike the financial markets, there were no real-time indexes to reflect the results of real-time auctions,” adds Jay, “so there were guesses about what prices were rather than actual prices.”

More than a year later, Mediapost has launched the RTB 500 powered by OwnerIQ – to track in real-time the movements in price for ads bought and sold on the websites of 500 publishers.
