Manager, Partner Development - Boston
Boston, MA

The Manager of Partner Development is a business development professional who is responsible for recruiting brands into ownerIQ’s Qniverse, introducing them to how 2nd Party Data can help achieve their business objectives and expanding the scope of their relationship with ownerIQ. This is a highly consultative role defined by innovation in helping clients deploy marketing capabilities they haven’t had before, solving complex problems among diverse organizations and lots of time spent working directly with clients.

This position reports to the VP of Partner Development.


Specific Responsibilities:
  • Introduce ownerIQ media activation clients to the applications of 2nd Party data and how it can help their business. Specific tasks include participating in kick-off calls with media activation clients to introduce CoEx, our 2nd party data sharing platform and 2nd party partnering.
  • On-boarding media activation clients to ownerIQ’s 2nd Party data marketing, or “Qniverse”. Specific tasks include working with clients and Partner Account Management to facilitate their use of CoEx, including demonstrations as necessary, and arranging training on how to use particular features.
  • Once a partner is in the Qniverse, working with that partner to expand the range of 2nd party applications the partner is taking advantage of. Specific tasks include assist partners with partner discovery, ie which partners should the client be working with. Determine which partners are important to the partner and working with other members of the Partner Development team to establish the partnership and initiating outreach to the desired partner. Proposing campaigns and marketing programs using 2nd party data for the client and working with the appropriate ownerIQ media sales team and activation client services as necessary.
  • Work with the partner to secure their participation in the ownerIQ blended pool and other monetization programs. Work with ownerIQ’s monetization team to explain the benefits and navigate the partner organization as necessary to secure required approvals.
  • Work with partner to help them leverage Ad Credit being earned as part of ownerIQ monetization programs and use these assets to support their 2nd Party activity with the Q.
  • Understand any co-op, or channel support programs, the partner might participate in and figure out how those programs can be used to support 2nd Party co-operative programs. Work with the Partner Account Management team and media activation teams as required to better deploy the client’s channel support resources to drive channel outcomes.
  • Find additional high-level decision makers with the partner to present the full range of 2nd Party data solutions and media activation. Coordinate among other ownerIQ sales and support teams as necessary.
  • Perform regular check-ins, Quarterly Business Reviews and other partner touchpoints to further the goal of expanding the range of 2nd Party Data solutions used by each partner.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Demonstrated competence in written communication.
  • 5-7 years of client facing sales and/or business development experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a complex sale involving multiple decision makers of a complex product or service.

Specific Responsibilities:
