HR - VP, Talent Acquisition, Development and Retention | Boston

The Vice President, Talent Acquisition, Development and Retention is responsible for working closely with the CEO and management team to create and execute an industry leading people strategy to accomplish our ambitious talent goals. In addition, the person will also serve as the senior HR executive of the Company.

The Vice President, Talent Acquisition, Development and Retention will be our external “Ambassador”, professionally representing the Company to all appropriate external constituencies including recruitment agencies, college career offices, employment related trade shows, training providers and through the effective use of social media, advertising and all other related efforts.

This position reports to the CEO.


Specific Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition
  • Overall responsibility for the development and implementation of all Talent Acquisition strategies.
  • Develop a pipeline management approach to recruiting, including monitoring and managing key process metrics, such as candidates identified, screened, etc., and reporting to management on recruiting activities weekly.
  • Deploy and manage our applicant tracking software.
  • Manage relations, contracts and deal terms with recruiting vendors to maximize candidate throughput and quality in the most cost effective manner.
  • Manage internal referral program to maximize candidates that are sourced from existing staff.
  • Develop and execute a digital and social media recruiting strategy to source candidates and get them interested in working for The Q.
  • Work with corporate marketing to develop and execute a paid recruiting media strategy in our major recruiting markets to source candidates and get them interested in work for The Q.
  • Create a structured screening process for candidates and manage its implementation to ensure that we make as few hiring misfires as possible.
  • Create selling tools and tactics so that we are able to consistently “punch above our weight” in recruiting candidates.
Talent Development
  • Maintain and manage our employee rating system to make sure that it is consistently applied, reported on and used by managers to guide development and staffing decisions.
  • Implement a “Title Strategy” among staff.
  • Working with functional departments, implement “Career Paths” in our organization and methods of recruiting employees into an entry job and growing the team from within.
  • Implement talent development strategies for training and growth.
  • Implement a development strategy for on-going manager education.
  • Serve as the Provost of “ownerIQ University”, known as “QU” – an intensive 2-day training and education session for all new hires; held periodically throughout the year.
  • Manage all internal training programs and vendors for external education, training and professional development resources.
  • Coach all levels of managers on how to develop their employees and improve performance. Assists with creation and execution of development plans.
  • Facilitate leadership team development; coach and counsel leaders on communication planning and processes, performance management, and organizational effectiveness among others.
  • Create a process for moving people out of the organization that is as robust as our recruiting process for hiring them.
Retention and compensation
  • Responsible for developing and implementing the Company’s overall retention strategies.
  • Continual monitoring of industry specific compensation, benefits and employment policies to ensure competitiveness.
  • Benchmark and monitor compensation at the Q and throughout the industry, including base compensation, variable cash compensation, equity and benefits, to ensure that our total compensation practices are consistent with best industry standards.
  • Work with accounting to ensure the correct execution of variable compensation plans.
  • Develop a process to hold managers accountable for timely and appropriate compensation adjustments.
Employee Relations
  • Chair and administer employee committee on events and activities.
  • Conduct regular benchmarking of employee attitudes and points of view.
  • Support Company-sponsored employee immigration initiatives.
Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree (at a minimum), advanced degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated writing and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated success in building strong, productive, positive and lasting business relationship both internally and externally.
  • Ability and willingness to utilize all necessary technology, software and communications aids.
  • 7-10 years of experience managing the talent acquisition, retention and development activities in a similar environment.
  • Direct HR generalist experience in a high-performance and high-growth technology company. Preferably venture-backed.
  • Experienced and knowledgeable in immigration matters.
  • Demonstrated success in building process driven solutions to recruiting, talent development and HR matters.
  • Ability to travel, both domestically and internationally, using common carriers potentially 25% of the time.

Partner Development - Director, Partner Development | Boston
Boston, MA

The Director of Partner Development is a business development professional who is responsible for recruiting brands into ownerIQ’s Qniverse, introducing them to how 2nd Party Data can help achieve their business objectives and expanding the scope of their relationship with ownerIQ. This is a highly consultative role defined by innovation in helping clients deploy marketing capabilities they haven’t had before, solving complex problems among diverse organizations and lots of time spent working directly with clients.

This position reports to the VP of Partner Development.


Specific Responsibilities:
  • Introduce ownerIQ media activation clients to the applications of 2nd Party data and how it can help their business. Specific tasks include participating in kick-off calls with media activation clients to introduce CoEx, our 2nd party data sharing platform and 2nd party partnering.
  • On-boarding media activation clients to ownerIQ’s 2nd Party data marketing, or “Qniverse”. Specific tasks include working with clients and Partner Account Management to facilitate their use of CoEx, including demonstrations as necessary, and arranging training on how to use particular features.
  • Once a partner is in the Qniverse, working with that partner to expand the range of 2nd party applications the partner is taking advantage of. Specific tasks include assist partners with partner discovery, ie which partners should the client be working with. Determine which partners are important to the partner and working with other members of the Partner Development team to establish the partnership and initiating outreach to the desired partner. Proposing campaigns and marketing programs using 2nd party data for the client and working with the appropriate ownerIQ media sales team and activation client services as necessary.
  • Work with the partner to secure their participation in the ownerIQ blended pool and other monetization programs. Work with ownerIQ’s monetization team to explain the benefits and navigate the partner organization as necessary to secure required approvals.
  • Work with partner to help them leverage Ad Credit being earned as part of ownerIQ monetization programs and use these assets to support their 2nd Party activity with the Q.
  • Understand any co-op, or channel support programs, the partner might participate in and figure out how those programs can be used to support 2nd Party co-operative programs. Work with the Partner Account Management team and media activation teams as required to better deploy the client’s channel support resources to drive channel outcomes.
  • Find additional high-level decision makers with the partner to present the full range of 2nd Party data solutions and media activation. Coordinate among other ownerIQ sales and support teams as necessary.
  • Perform regular check-ins, Quarterly Business Reviews and other partner touchpoints to further the goal of expanding the range of 2nd Party Data solutions used by each partner.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Demonstrated competence in written communication.
  • 3-5 years of client facing sales and/or business development experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a complex sale involving multiple decision makers of a complex product or service.

Strategic Relations - Director, Strategic Relations | Boston or New York

Reporting to the SVP-Strategic Relations, The Director, Strategic Relations is responsible for leading the business development efforts of ownerIQ as it relates to identifying and consummating key partnerships designed to increase overall access points and expand usage of the Q’s “Second Party Data”. Internally named Expanding the Pathway, primary partnerships include integrations with major Demand Side Platforms, secondary partnerships include software platforms that support online retailers including ecommerce, web registrars, web analytic companies, web security companies and other entities who are part of the digital marketing “stack” at retailer and brands.

This position reports to the Senior Vice President of Strategic Relations


Responsibilities:
  • Lead integration efforts as it relates to expanding access to the Q’s “Second Party Data” by 3rd parties and ultimately advertisers
  • Primary responsibility is vetting out and prioritizing potential partnerships and then identifying and navigating to the key decision maker at all prospects.
  • Candidate should be adept at handling objections and convincing partners of the value of ownerIQ 2nd Party Data
  • Recognizing when multiple key decision makers are needed to close and elevating discussion appropriately
  • Ascertaining the various benefits that a partnership would provide to prospects and communicating those advantages efficiently and with zeal to the potential partner
  • Eliminate perceived roadblocks and barriers by developing solutions that are both economically viable and desirable for DSPs to want to integrate with the Q
  • Act as internal champion for prioritizing integrations for Expanding the Pathway with other strategic server-level integrations

Specific Responsibilities:

Platform Management

  • Create and manage a complex set of data-driven reports that will compromise a single dashboard used to monitor platform health in real time, capturing critical issues early to mitigate potential damage to the client campaign and/or overall ownerIQ operations.
  • Track major performance issues across all areas of the tech stack including data warehouse, real-time bidding, campaign macro-optimization and pixeling. Quantify impact of issues, assist in researching root causes and defining permanent solutions.
  • Work closely with our Analytics and Technology Teams to identify macro trends across our platform, informing executive leadership and driving strategic solutions for growth.

Platform Support

  • Triage a variety of issues related to campaign delivery and performance, reporting discrepancies and technology issues reported by Client Services, Ad Operations, Sales Marketing and Delivery.
  • Analyze all available data to determine if issues are campaign specific or platform-wide, identify options for resolution, escalate related projects to technology teams as needed and manage projects to completion.

Feature Innovation

  • Assist with the planning, execution and analysis of non-standard campaigns and new/updated platform algorithms which includes campaigns that use new product features like Multi-Segment Optimization, Cross-Device Targeting or Geo-Weighting and new media channels like Mobile In-App or connected TV and new algorithms related to Retargeting, Pacing and Performance Optimization
Desired Qualifications:

Client Services - VTM Account Manager | Boston

ownerIQ is seeking a VTM Account Manager to join the ownerIQ Client Services team. The ownerIQ Client Services team works to deliver ‘Best in Class’ customer service to each and every one of our clients. Our VTM (Vendor Targeted Marketing) team, in particular, works with our retail clients, giving them direct access to their manufacturers’ data, as well as to our unique service platform, helping retailers transform the way they manage their business online.

Responsibilities:
  • Working directly with clients, sales and ad operations to successfully launch all campaigns
  • Monitoring an assigned portfolio of campaigns daily for pace and performance, making sure both meet or exceed client expectations
  • Onboarding new Retailers to the ownerIQ’s CoEx platform, helping to familiarize them with ownerIQ’s technologies

Responsibilities:
