What is campaign optimization?

Campaign optimization is the process by which OwnerIQ ensures your campaign reaches the best audience, in the right place, at the right time, based on your campaign objective. OwnerIQ’s technology constantly analyzes data from your campaign and makes decisions to promote optimal campaign performance. In addition to automated changes, your campaign is being monitored by a team of dedicated account managers and operations specialists. They act as a second check-point, ensuring that everything is working at peak performance.

What is a pixel?

A pixel, or a tag, is a piece of code that is placed onto the pages of your website. Whether you are a retailer running advertising campaigns or a manufacturer sharing your audience with retailers, the first step for everyone is to place an OwnerIQ pixel across your site. What does an ownerIQ pixel do?

The ownerIQ pixel allows ownerIQ to capture the audience that visits your site. This information can be used to collect audience insights, allow for campaign targeting and optimization, and/or capture data for campaign reporting, depending on your partnership with ownerIQ. There is no personally identifiable information captured from this pixel.

How do I add a pixel?

We recommend that you work closely with your web developer to help implement our pixels. The analytics pixel can be copied into the footer of your site and the conversion pixel should only be placed on the sales confirmation page. If you have any questions or use a tag management company, please email coex-support@owneriq.com. OwnerIQ is integrated with many tag management systems and can assist in the implementation process.

What happens when I request a manufacturer audience?

When you request a manufacturer audience, you are asking to be able to run a campaign targeting visitors to their website. The decision to approve or decline your request is at the discretion of the manufacturer. Manufacturers sometimes decline requests if a retailer has not met certain standards set by the manufacturer (ie, not an authorized dealer, does not have enough floor space dedicated to the manufacturer’s products, etc). If a manufacturer approves your request, you can set up a campaign targeting their audience and use co-branded ads that drive to your retail site.

Can I create my own advertising campaigns in CoEx?

Yes! We encourage advertisers to create their own campaigns in CoEx. The first step in setting up your own campaign is to apply for credit. To apply for credit, log into CoEx, click on the Advertising section in the top header, and then click on the “Apply Now” button. Fill in each field in the Credit Application form. Click on the link at the bottom of the page to review Terms and Conditions. Once reviewed, click the Close button, check the checkbox and click Submit Application. You will be notified regarding the status of your application, and once approved, you will receive a quick walk through on how you can create campaigns in CoEx.

How do I know if my campaign is running?

You can check the status of your campaign at any time via the Advertising section of CoEx. Once in the Advertising section, you’ll see a list of your campaigns along with their campaign status. If your campaign is past the start date and “Active”, you’re up and running! What is the difference between “My Creatives” and “My Templates”?

The “My Creatives” tab is where advertisers can upload their logo or creatives and send creatives for approval. The “My Templates” tab is used predominantly by VTM manufacturer partners to upload and share creative templates — creatives with a space for a retailer to add their logo, creating co-branded ads. The “Partner Creatives” tab features creatives that were shared with you or creatives sent to you for approval.

What does the Accounting balance mean?

If you have an OwnerIQ pixel on your site and participate in OwnerIQ’s Blended Pool Ad Credit Program, you earn ad credit based on the number of visitors to your site. This credit can be used to run an advertising campaign. If you are interesting in learning more about the ad credit program, email coex-support@owneriq.com.

How do I earn ad credits?

If you have an OwnerIQ pixel on your site, you are eligible to participate in OwnerIQ’s Blended Pool Ad Credit Program. By participating in this program, you will earn ad credit based on the number of visitors to your site in exchange for allowing OwnerIQ to serve ads for other non-competitive advertisers to visitors of your site. Ad credit that you earn can be used to offset the cost of an advertising campaign that you run with OwnerIQ.
